Bidar Fort
Bidar was the capital of Bahmani Kingdom in the 14th century (1424), Ala-ud-din Bahman of Bahamani Dynasty. The Fort was renovated in the 15th century by Sultan Ahmad Shah-I as he shifted his capital from Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) to Bidar. Bidar is located in the northeastern part of the state of Karnataka in the southern region of India. It is tourism place. It is located 2,200 feet above sea level. Bidar city is known for its Bidri handicraft products, and its rich history.
